Project Organizing

Shipbuilding Management

We offer shipbuilding management service as a contractual supplier. We collaborate with a reliable Chinese shipyard at a reasonable cost. Qualified engineers arranged by Samsung C&T provide effective project management. Our technical/contractual capability and rich experience with Chinese Shipyards will provide our clients with the best shipbuilding service.

Ship Brokering (New Building, Sales & Purchase, Chartering Service)

Since we started ship and offshore business, we have been engaging in exporting ship and offshore facilities, and arranging package service (new shipbuilding/sale and purchase +chartering brokerage service). We have experience in supporting a variety of countries in Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia and so on, to obtain orders for the products. Backed by over forty years of experiences with clients worldwide, we continuously provide our service to meet our esteemed customers' needs and support their successful business.

Ship fund

By participating in ship fund (Samsung C&T Corporation as an equity investor and consortium of institutional investors) business, we purchase vessels and charter out for long-term to secure stable source of revenue. Once Samsung C&T participates in a ship fund project as an equity investor, other institutional and individual investors may easily decide to invest in ship fund. We have a proven track record in concluding 3(three) ship fund deals, totally 6 vessels, with the 1st class charterers worldwide, for example Hyundai Merchant Marine in Korea and Cargill International in Switzerland.

Material Package Service

We offer reliable procurement service in delivering marine equipments to our clients in cooperation with proven suppliers. Our service ensures that clients operate with a competitive edge.

Offshore facilities

With the experience of supplying the largest FSO in the world, we offer brokerage service for offshore facilities with financial packages from commercial banks and ECAs. We connect our customers to Korean shipyards which have the best offshore technologies in the world and to Chinese shipyards at a more reasonable price. Our offshore business includes drilling unit (jack-up rig, drillship), accommodation vessel/barge, PSV/OSV and FPSO/FSO and so on.
